Position Summary:

Qualified architect or architectural graduate to join our Team and contribute to their many unique projects. The practice provides services for new home builds throughout Western, Pennsylvania.

Duties include:

• Produce and edit design and construction drawings, documents and exhibits.
• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of coordination processes between management and clients.
• Assist with site planning, site layout, and site criteria conformance.
• Assist with researching and collecting information.
• Assist with the in-house coordination of architect, tenant and consultant drawings.
• Provide Construction Phase Services as needed.
• Maintain a professional and congenial relationship with architectural and support staff.

Requirements: Qualifications

• Professional architectural degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in preparing architectural construction documents
• Knowledge of architectural design, development and construction documents and how buildings go together.
• Understanding of architectural design, site planning, design development, CDs and graphic presentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other graphic and business software and their application in developing and presenting documents.
• Basic knowledge of codes and agency submittal/approval process.
